Named after the legendary Club 82 drag artist, Ella Funt offers Neoparisian fine dining in a signature bar space in which to look and be seen.
Finding Authentic Inspiration To Each Space
Crafted to accentuate the essence of the space, these playlists start the night by featuring soul, rock, electronic, pop, worldwide music, groovy tunes, lounge, and early disco, converging to create an eclectic ambiance.
Then, In New York from 10 pm to 1 am, we bring the funk, disco, rock 'n' roll, classic house, and electronic dance because in NY, music is alive, and for some, the night is not over yet..

The Story With Them & My Work
I had the pleasure of curating music for Ella Funt, a restaurant in NYC that boasts an unconventional atmosphere.
While the walls probably echo the vibrant energy of the former Club 82, the space pulses and is infused with the fresh vitality unique to Ella Funt.
The architecture, with its striking volumes and aesthetic ambiance, with the interplay of light and shadow creates an experience characterized by rich colors, luxurious fabrics, and captivating textures.
My role involved crafting an eclectic soundscape where the infectious grooves of funk, disco, and global music take center stage. This musical tapestry not only celebrates diversity but also resonates with the sensual energy of the artwork and the allure of the culinary offerings.
In addition to handpicking around 100 hours of music to establish a distinct sound identity, my work was about collaborating closely with the owners to align with their vision, adapt to the space's needs, and infuse an alternative essence into this creative hub.
As the talented interior designer Carolyn Kassar aptly puts it:
“You need to be excited the moment you step into a bar or restaurant. “Remember that a restaurant is about meeting people – maybe a date, maybe friends, maybe family. So the space must provide pools of privacy as well as a bar for seeing and being seen.
This philosophy guided my work at Ella Funt, ensuring that every element —from music to rhythm— contributes to a non-generic and memorable dining atmosphere.
